Default Squeak when moving steering wheel left/right slightly

A few weeks back my 2002 Camaro began to squeak when you move the steering wheel slightly left or right. At first I thought it might be the steering shaft or knuckle rubbing the brake line shield (turbo build, everything down there's been removed at some point) but there was no contact. It's not the "whine" you get when you have low power steering fluid or a bad pump, just a metal sounding squeak the first few degrees rotation of the steering wheel left or right.

I can't figure out where it's coming from. Anybody run into this before?

Could possibly be a ball-joint/s, or tie-rod end.

Hmm...maybe. I did have all that apart for the turbo build so who knows. I no longer have a front swaybar so i don't know if that's causing more stress on the front suspension than it previously received.
