A/C pulley issue, causing squeaks...

A/C pulley issue, causing squeaks... Well i had the car less than a week and it had the stupid squeak with the belts. I pulled the main drive belt and no change. Put it back on and pulled the A/C belt. Squeak went away. So i started spinning the pulleys and checked the belt. Belt is almost brand new and the pulleys felt great, until i got to the compressor. The pulley on it was rough and almost grinding. Made a noticeable noise when free spinning it. The A/C still works but it just is noisy from the belt pulley. Would it be easier just getting a new compressor and is there anything special i should do with the compressor before i put it in? ~Cole~
