Default Engine noise - possible rod knock or bent push rod

I have a 2002 Trans am with an Ls1 and 4L60e. Mods done are full exhaust, intake and torque converter.

I have about 110000 Miles on the motor, and about 500 miles ago it started making a faint noise at startup, but it would go away after five minutes, so I figured it was just piston slap. Now, for about the last 100 miles, its started making much more noise, and the noise is there til about 2000-2500 rpm, then it goes away.

I have taken a video so that you can hear the noise and possible know something that I havent thought of.

I will be tearing into the motor this weekend to examine the pushrods.

Thanks for your help in advance.

The noise has been fixed!

It wasnt a blown motor like I had thought, It turns out the Torque converter Bolts were Just loose. I tightened them up to spec, and the noise is gone.

Glad to hear it wasn't internal engine, I seen some people tear their whole engine apart to only find out later that it was a converter bolt.

Yeah, i was convinced i was going to be dropping my motor and rebuilding... all 3 of my bolts were loose, but 1 of the bolts was backed out 3/16" and was hitting an engine Cover every time the engine turned over

Thanks, I try to always update what was wrong and what I did to remedy, because when Im searching for an answer I hate finding 30 threads on the subject, but noone has the answer.

First I jacked the car up and put it on stands.

these were the loose bolts. All were finger tight, and one was backed out pretty far, as you can tell from the pictures.

I applied lock tight and torqued all the bolts to 46 ft/lbs.

I also had to replace my starter since it was the original that came with the car, and it fell apart in my hands when i removed it.

No auto parts store in my area stocked a starter for a f body, so I bought one for a 2002 silverado with a 5.3L. Its tghe same starter, but the trucks have 2 long bolts, whereas the f-body has a long and short bolt.

Also, The oil all over my motor was from a broken oil pressure sending unit, and my aux trans cooler line blowing off while I was doing 70 mph.
