ls1 ss power steering hose has any one had to replace the power steering return hose. this car had a power steering cooler and was leaking, so I removed it and used the stock hose for the p/s cooler and it does not fit well on the pump.

I made my own while doing my turbo build. Summit sells power steering fittings and braided lines just for this or there was a sponsor selling a kit here a while ago, cant remember who though

I deleted the cooler as well, and just connected the stock PS line directly to the pump. It fit perfectly once trimmed to the proper length. This is exactly how GM setup the cars that did not come stock with a PS cooler.

Ya its nice when the coolant goes into your p/s pump ! I will check out summit racing for a hose the stock one is verry stiff and dosent fit the tank well at all
