Default Front breaks locking up after.

I removed my pcv system and capped everything off. Everything worked fine with one breather on the oil cap. Now I added 2 -10AN lines from my valve covers to a breather to the rear of the car. Problem is now since this mod my front breaks are locking up every time I start the car and pump them up. Break booster has a good amount of pressure when i remove the line coming from the rear of the intake. Only way to release the pressure is to crack one of the front bleeders. Whats going on?

Just bypassed the line on the driver side and capped it off to see if it was lack of vacuum. But that made no difference.

There's is absolutely no correlation with the PCV system and the front brakes.

I capped off my entire vacuum port system for like the last 7 years. It did nothing to the brakes.

What do you mean......pump them up after you start the engine....?

Do you have to pump them up...?

After I start the car i push on the pedal maybe twice and its hard as a rock. Then try to move the car and wont. Crack the left front bleeder by the wheel and it lets all the pressure out. I can hear the calipers opening up and releasing the wheel. I also just removed the Traction control...

Huh, that's odd.

So the brakes are compressing on their own just by starting the engine....?

And the lines are actually filling with air....?

So you release the air.....tighten the bleeder back up.....and it will do it again the next time you start it up. I will fill with air again and compress the brakes....?

Maybe there's a ton of air trying to work its way out of the system.

Doesn't the brake reservoir and assembly have to be bled on a bench when the traction control is removed....to make sure it's all bled right before adding fluid back into the dry, empty system....?

V6....?

I just remember being told by my speed shop when they installed my new engine a few months ago........if the Traction Control System is removed or the brake reservoir is allowed to run dry......then the reservoir and brake booster assembly MUST be removed from the car and bench bled.....

Maybe that has something to do with why you keep getting air in the lines.

Ask the place that did it......
