how much gear oil do i need for my rear diff? Gonna change the rear diff fluid in my car and need to know how much, its a 2000 z28 with posi 3.23 gears. Factory rear and gears, a4.

For the differential?! 
That would be enough to do almost 3 rear end services.
Not surprised that a chain auto parts store employee would say this though. They probably think it's the same as an engine oil change.

Lmao yeah you're probably right, its been so long since I did it I couldn't remember and I asked while I was in there picking up spark plug wires, and I knew it wasn't 5 lol
