Default Maintence Schedule Trans Am

Hey guys, I have been looking around and searching google like crazy and I can't seem to find a write up on a 98-2002 Trans Am Service Schedule.

Something that looks like this:
http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=190111

I don't really trust those books because who knows who writes what. I have more trust in you guys for knowing how to take care of your car than GM.
Thanks in advance!

Because if its on the internet, it must be true???

Car makers put their products through grueling tests that far out-do anything we'd do to our cars in normal use and then tear them completely apart. The resources they put in to this activity go way beyond the experience anyone here would have.

That being said, one should beware of what a dealer will tell you. They are not required to follow GM's guidance and often give advice that makes them money vs. properly maintaining your car.

So, the owners manual is the perfect place to start. If the car has any special modifications or is not used for normal road use, then more frequent or specialized maintenance will be required. If you have any of these situations, please provide more details and you will get some good pointed responses, experience, and advice.
