Default bad misfire on cold startup and random racing

ok ive looked on here at other threads and i cant find anything on here of the crazy symptoms im having, on the first cold night of the winter it got to around 35 degrees i went to crank the car that morning around 4am it the car had this bad misfire and it would randomly race up to around 2500 to 3k for a few seconds then drop back down to around 900rpms, a few minutes will go by and it will do it again, but once it warms up it runs fine, im new to the ls1 engines so im in the dark on it, ive owned many of cars and never experienced this someone please help (1998 Trans Am LS1, 92000 miles)

Clean the MAF for starters. The MAF runs the engine when its cold and at WOT. Both areas where you're getting misfires.

If that doesn't help, it could be the IAT sensor or an old TPS sensor.
