Default Window issues.

So my 99 trans am power window on the driver side won't go up. Passenger still worked until this morning now it won't move either. When you hold the driver side there is two clicks that come from the kick panel under the steering wheel. The Breaker Is fine because I switched it with the seat breaker and the passenger still worked last night. Any ideas?

Well i dont think the motor is the issue because its unlikely that they would go out at the same time. Sounds like a relay to me. You might be able to look up a diagram or look in the owners manual to figure out which relay is for the windows.

Have you searched? There are hundreds of threads on this, with explanations for the clicking.

I know it is for LT1 cars, but Im pretty sure shbox.com has a write up about this issue. I don't know if it will help, but it wouldn't hurt to look.

Ill help you guys out: buy new window motors, every two or three years.

Learn how to change them, get good at it because you will be doing it again and again and again unless you get the 6LE "fix kit".

I just do them every two years so that I don't get screwed in the summer with a window motor taking a ****.

Well it ended up being the motor on the drivers side, and the connection came loose on the passenger side at the same time some how.
