Default Part #?

Does anybody know if there is a part number for the red plastic retainer that goes over the pcm pins? Mine decided to stay inside the pcm when I unplugged it. Sorry about the crappy phone pic.

Would it harm the pcm to run it without that piece?

It's kind of hard to see in the pic but it's the red plastic piece that goes over the pcm pins

Delphi would make that part, but I don't know of an easy way to find the number.

We have two site sponsors who sell/customize PCM wiring. (For people converting car/engines, etc.) I'm sure they would know the part and could hook you up with one.)

<non-sponsor link deleted>

The 6th item down on the page. You specify the color you want after you add them to your cart.

Also eficonnnection used to sell them but you would probably have to call them because I don't see them on their site any more.

Mouser Electronics probably has them too.
