Default Squeak coming from the rear
Hi,
I recently bought a 2000 camaro and there is a squeak coming from the rear when I'm just driving or accelerating. The squeak goes away when I brake or am just idling. Any ideas what it is?

does it do it when your stopped in traffic but in gear and go away when you put it in neutral?

No, no squeaking when I'm not moving. It will only happen if I'm moving, and if I'm moving but breaking then it goes away

I changed my rear shocks and did not help the squeak I have, next is bushings.

Check the two bolts that attach the torque arm to the rear differential. Make sure they are tight. I have had that happen. If they are loose you may want to put some lock washers or lock tight on them. Sway bar bushings will squeak too but that's usually only over bumps
