LOUD Vibration
LOUD Vibration So this morning im driving my 02 TA to work and I hit a few bumps in the road at low speed like 40-45 and their was a terrible very LOUD vibration that made the whole car shake and it was sporatic only after I hit bumps. So I decided to go go slower and ofc I hit a few more bumps and the slower I went the longer the term of the Vibration. If I could replicate the sound it would be something in the ballpark of an A-10 firing a short burt of 30mm rounds down range :/ BRRRRRRRRRRRRPT. But if I accelerated into the 50s it went away instrantly. I just replaced my torque arm bushing with a poly from energy recently and the car has been lowered with koni srt.t shocks/strano springs and new rear sway bar end links have been put on. Other than that the motor/trans is stock approaching 200k
I tried it doesnt really sound like anything in the video.......if u can imagine going over a rumble strip when u get close to some stop signs but only for like 45 seconds until you speed up than it goes away.....I thought I ran over a carboard box or something was dragging but when I got out to check their was nothing, I shook the exhaust....it was secure. No fluid was leaking. Not that this has anything to do with it it but all the gauges were fine in the car. I'll try another video after work.
Thats what I thought ....I thought maybe I might have put it on the wrong side but the pipe doesnt line up when the flat side is on the pass side so I know its not that......and everything that is elongated its pushed up as far as itll go. The car has been lowered but I dont remember the pipe hanging that low after it was lowered
