Power window track/motor issue
I bought my car knowing the drivers side power window needed a new motor. The window doesn't go up 100% (1/2 gap or so) and I thought the motor going bad was the issue until I removed the door panel and saw the track bolts:

Note how the bolts seemed to have moved around a lot of eaten in to the fiberglass inner shell and dropped down. I'm assuming this drop lowered the track and is what's causing the small gap in the windows because the track is now too low.
Is my assumption correct? Is this how the track is supposed to look excluding the issue? Some pics I've seen looked different than mine so I thought maybe someone previously tried to replace the motor and somehow caused this issue.
My next question is about fixing it. What can I do to correct this? The fiberglass doesn't seem strong enough for me to rig up something underneath the bolts to hold them in their original position. Am I stuck getting another inner fiberglass door piece (or whatever it's called)?
Thanks!
Bolts should never be used on this type of door - that is what has done the damage.
This thread has all the gory details about the required repair: https://ls1tech.com/forums/general-m...-included.html
I'll search http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/ to see if they have that pattern so I can get the piece of metal cut.
Thanks for linking that post.
