Wheel play noise, please help!
Hi, just wondering about this noise coming from my drivers side rear wheel. When you lean against the rear fender and push with your hips, it makes this noise that seems like a loose/worn wheel bearing. The shop that did my valve cover gaskets said it was worn clips in the axle shaft or maybe worn gears! I don't believe that guy! Please help, thanks!

Save the manuals!

If that's the case then, either:
1) Someone is pressing against your rear fender while the car is moving at speed. If this is happening, I'd like to see video!
2) Your car is so bad you shouldn't be able to drive down the road.
If you just press against the car at rest and it makes noise, it has to be something with the suspension. There's too much weight on the wheels, axle, bearings, etc. for them to move. The suspension will give first.
