need help with AC
need help My AC compressor was working fine but I have had my car parked without a battery for 1 week and now the damn thing won't work. the fuse is good and I don't know where to start looking. Car is a 96SS and I need help. Also is there any way to test a fuel injector on the car for proper operation??

I asked a question like this one before. (in the racing lounge) Basicly this is the awnser i got. But a gauge and check to see if the compressor is working, Thats all i got out of it. You may want to go ask this question in the ls1 area. Cause most of them still have there ac. Alot of us already took ours out. Thats why we dont know crap about them..

if you know anyone that has a scanner that can perform functional tests, they can cycle the compressor to see if its a bad clutch or what not...for the fuel injectors you can use a noid light to test the wiring, it just plugs in to the injector harness......otherwise to check the actual injector, you have to take them out and have them flow tested
If the a/c clutch is locked up , just take the belt off and start the car. You should know if the car is trying to turn over. As for the injector, take a test light to (i believe) opposite the black wire, should be pink, plug the test light to the positive side of the battery. When you turn over the car the test light should light up/ pulse. If it doesn't the opti is bad, it controls the injectors, thus checking the injectors.
Double check me on the wire, not sure if pink or black, try both.
