Default What is the cricket-rattle in the back of an Fbody?

Yeeeears ago, I saw a thread identifying the exact noise/location of this rattle, but like an idiot, I didn't save the thread. There's apparently a known issue and a fix for it, but it's a squeaky-cricket-rattle in the back of the car that sounds like it's coming from the tail light area. It only happens at a certain RPM range and I want to fix it.

Any ideas?

Mine's pretty solid, for the most part. That's really the only one I have.

My guess is the rear springs. Despite having the isolator in place it probably squeaks in the pocket which is essentially sheet metal thickness away from the interior.

Check the rear exhaust hanger, i bet the bushing in it is making the noise.

My guess would be exhaust hanger if it's doing at certain rpm while parked

Might check your spare tire bracket.

I thought it'd be the spare tire bracket, too. I've checked the spare tire bracket numerous times... it sounds like it's coming from there, but I haven't checked the exhaust hanger. Will give that a shot. Thanks.
