You'd have to figure out if its motor noise, gear noise, or missing sound deadening.
Motor noise should be equivalent.
If the motor does not engage the regulator properly, you could get harder, sharper noises from gears clashing.
These things also make noise, normally. There should be a plastic vapor barrier stuck to the composite panel of the door and cardboard and insulation on the back of the plastic inner door panel. There are also shrouds that cover the door handle linkages in the door. All these things act to keep down noise in the door and if any have come out of place or been thrown away in work over the years - you'll notice more noise.
