Default fuel filter tool

going to change my fuel filter and was wondering if there's a special tool to release the fuel line. And yes, I DID attempt to search first. found nothing.

Just a couple of wrenches or pliers are all you need.

My old Ford F150 needed a special tool to like a split O that you put over the gas line and inserted to release the keeper from the filter, but there is nothing like that needed for your car.

Just keep your face away from under the gas line and have a towel or old T-shirt handy for the gas and it is a very simple job.

Yeah the first time I replaced my filter years ago I was dumb and didn't think of that. Gasoline in your eyeball hurts...doesn't taste too good either...
