So i bought a p/s pump ( rebuilt) and puller/ installer and when the pulley was on ..........the pulley/ shaft deflected with the touch of my hand. Ie the shaft was loose. Anyone run into this? I took it back.

Raman pumps are notorious for being bad out of the box. If you still have the original and a week of time, you can send it to a place like TurnOne. They can do a stock rebuild, their performance build, or whatever you want. They also have a pulley you can add where you'll never need to pull it again. (You can remove their pumps with the pulley on.)
