What's the mileage on your ball joints and tie rods?

I haven't been able to check the driveshaft itself yet.
The carrier is inside the rear, it has the ring gear bolted on to it. The vibration it caused was subtle as you increased speed, could feel it in the car from around 35 up. The rear just shook, by 70 mph it was very noticeable that the rear was shaking hard. The only part that was changed was the carrier so it was easy to find the trouble. I put another carrier in that was balanced and no more vibrations. Sucked but that's how it goes.

Wheels and tires could need roadforced balanced.

Different harmonics/ are associated with different speed groups.... i think it's <30mph, then 30-60 mph, then 60+ mph

Sweet. The shop I like to go to for my Jeep has it. Worthwhile to get it checked before diving into deeper possibilities.

I looked up a video on it as well, and it does make a lot of sense. Gotta love new tech.

Is it speed related or rpm related? I would suspect u joints if speed related.

EDIT: I see the thread title. Speed related lol. I would think it's in the driveshaft. Maybe wheel bearings also. Vibrations suck to chase down.

I had a vibration that turned out to be a shaft in the transmission. It was only bad in 6th gear.

This might be what I'm down to. I'm just trying to figure it out before I dump $XXXX dollars on the next "fix" to not fix it. I know I need a new axle because it's the old stock, but if that isn't going to fix my vibration I don't want it to take priority. :/
