Which style should I purchase

I haven't seen anyone with experience with this new type of motor/regulator yet. This appears to be fresh off the presses...

My concerns with using it would be that if if ever fails, it doesn't appear that any replacement motors are available (Only full regulators with motors.) and that we don't know who the manufacturer is. (Lots of places are selling this, but none list the true manufacturer.)

I was able to find a number of other sellers listing the part as 1552-0049R

BTW - If you do replace the regulator, do you know about the problems with the rivets and the need for the special ones?

I'm a big fan of just doing a motor-only replacement via the shbox swap to avoid disturbing the regulator rivets all-together.

i just replaced mine with the aftermarket motor. been 2 months and no issues and it fit great. got mine off ebay.

My Gen 4 Corvette window motors in my 99 Z28 are stilll working fine after about 2 months of combined use, nothing substaintial..but no issues either.

Pulled the trigger on a acdelco regulator motor assy
Got the correct rivets ..
Under $100 for the parts
Installed tonight ..
Good as new
