ASR/Traction control light on

ASR/Traction control light on I have a 01 Camaro SS and the ASR light is on the dash. I previousy had the ABS INOP and ASR ligts on but I found a broken speed sensor wire. I repaired the front right wire and cleared the codes and now the speed sensor code as well as the ABS INOP light are gone. The ASR light still remain and the only code im getting is c0240 "pcm traction control not allowed". Ive been searching and cant figure out the reason why, other then possibly because my 3rd brake light/ spoiler light is out. Any help please?

Codes were cleared after abs was fixed. I went for a drive and the asr light went away . Stopped 2 different places and drove again. City and highway. After 40 mins of driving and get home and have the car idling...the asr light came back on

Yes I rescanned and code 0240 came back. I have a snapon solus ultra scanner but I also do have a buddy with a tech2. Its weird because the light comes and goes. When the ASR light is not on the dash, i can use the switch and turn it on and off. But when its on lit up on the dash, i obviously cant turn it on and off. Stared the car today and moved it with the light off, turned it off and let it sit. Went back out to move it again and after i moved and parked the car, the light came back on
