Question Crankshaft Position Sensor Location

I have a 2000 LS1 WS6, and it's been dying on me just driving down the road. I turn the key to the off position, push in the clutch,
turn the key to start, and it starts right back up immediately. Through many days of trying this and that, it is pointing to a Crankshaft Position Sensor.
However, I have been told conflicting locations for the Sensor's location.
Does anyone know "for sure" where it is?? Thanks in advance!!

You need to perform a crank relearn procedure if you replace the crank position sensor. Needs to be done with a tech 2 tool which most people don't have access to

I've done the regular Idle Relearn a couple times and it worked perfectly.......just had to drive the car about 50 miles afterwards for it to fully take by the PCM.
