Unresolved skip Hey guys so I own a 2000 Z and I have a very noticeable skip while stopped or at idle, none while driving and its strong, I have replaced the following, coilpack harnesses, plugs , wires, yes they clicked twice and are tight, new stock PCM, new O2's, new fuel filter, now for things I've checked or tried, fuel pressure checked , it's fine, Noid light checked the injector harness all pulses are fine, mass air cleaned and stock screen in place with filaments unharmed, intake is fen with no leaks, PCV is fine, all vac ones are fine, all grounds including the ones on the back of the heads are fine, compression checked all cylinders are good, with all this said I'm at a loss at this point, anyone else have any ideas, please post, thanks Kyle.
Is it a consistent miss or skip at idle? OR does't it every so often. A bent valve can give you that sensation but seem to be ok at RPM and still pass a compression check. Need to do a leak down test too.
