Default Moving AC Compressor

Hello everyone. I'm new to the forums and working on an LS1 period. I've decided to replace my oil pan due to stripping the threads and not wanting to take a chance with re-tapping. I'm trying to reach the motor mounts so I've removed the alternator and now I'm trying to remove the AC compressor. I've removed all three bolts from the top and the two on the bottom.

I've researched that you can push the compressor forward and over the sway bar, but I can't get it to move at all. Am I missing something? I also removed the small belt that attatches to it.

Here are some images below.

Of the 3 you removed on top the middle one is the compress to the bracket. The other two are the bracket to the block. In front of those 3 is the second compressor to bracket mounting bolt. It will move after that one is out.

Awesome, I got it to move after getting the second compressor to bracket mounting bolt. Thanks alot.
Second & third unrelated question, when lifting the engine with a hoist, the power steering housing is blocking the engine removal point where you screw the bolt in to lift with chains. Can I loosen the power steering housing any to get to this ?

Also, when unbolting the motor mount, can I just remove the larger main bolt instead of the four smaller bolts ?

Thanks, again

Don't know as I dropped mine out of the bottom like most because it's way easier.

I remember now. You can see my stock steering pump pulley, it's solid. You have to remove that with a puller to get to the bolts and then it's like 5 bolts to remove it with the bracket. You should be able to rent the tool at the parts store.
