Default Can someone tell me what this is?

Sorry if this is the wrong spot.
This was leftover from when I pulled my motor and I can't figure out what it would have went to, any ideas?

I thought the same but I can't find any that are missing. I guarantee it'll be a facepalm moment but I've looked all over and don't see a spot for it

I think you're right. Doing a search finds someone mentioning part number 10402846 for it, and searching that pulls up a diagram that looks correct. Now to figure out how to put it back on lol.

are you sure its from the car? it looks like a push mower discharge chute.

That is always a possibility. My old roommate or my dad could've left it with my parts while it was torn down lol

The first tell tale is that the part number molded into the plastic isn't a GM part number. If you google it, you'll find that it's a... MTD lawn mower discharge flap.

It would probably look really cool on the car. Maybe put it over the exhaust???

Hey when the dealership says they can throw in the lawn package exhaust spun mower blade you don't argue right?

Called my old roommate last night, confirmed he's missing that cover on his mower. Mystery solved. Thanks for the help everyone!
