Default Reardefronst button?

The light does not come on and the rear defrost does not work on my 01 Firehawk.I checked for the fuse inside and it shows DEFROST/SEATS..? Elect seat works fine and it looks like a relay ( silver #30 fuse),,, I checked the connection on the rear glass and removed HVAC to insure it was plugged in... Next step? Anyone?

It's a circuit breaker. The fact that your seats work indicates that it's probably an issue with the wiring or the defroster module, but I'd still swap the breaker anyway for a new one. This breaker is really stressed by the defroster and burns out over time. Even if it isn't bad (it probably isn't), it's still probably a worthwhile investment of a few dollars.

^interesting i'll have to try that next time. I read that the rear defroster is notorious to go bad on a majority of fbodies overtime. much like the inevitable cracked dash or broken arm rest button. both my old 98 firebird and my current Camaro went bad. I managed to nab a working one from a member on here from his parts car and thus far is still working *knock on wood*
