Default weird airbag light issue

I originally had a Momo steering wheel on the car and wanted to go back to stock... I took off the wheel and something deep inside the column somehow broke (bearing) (dont ask me how because I have no idea)

anyway I installed a new (used) complete steering column and put my stock wheel back on and everything works fine now...

I had a McNord gauge face on my cluster and the font was so shitty I couldnt see what light was lit up...

removed shitty gauge face back to stock and it was the airbag light that was on..

did some snooping and noticed that the wires going into the connector at the bottom of the column were backwards... green to white and white to green... MUST BE IT RIGHT??

de-pinned the connector and swapped to green to green and white to white.. (battery was disconnected and fuse was pulled beforehand)

hook everything back up and the airbag light is still on in the cluster....

so what now?

all my audio buttons on the steering wheel work.. I would think those wouldnt work if the clockspring was broken..

I may take off the airbag and see if the connector is plugged in tight
