00' Headlight Help

So today i decided to go about replacing the gears in my headlight motors. Ever since i have owned the car i have not had fuses for the motors so they would stay up. After i get done with the gears i put fuses in and the passenger headlight works fine but the drivers dosent go up when the lights are turned on. But when i turn them off the drivers will go up wait a few seconds then go right back down. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

did you put the control lever arm on backwards ? it can be done......ask me how i know......

No it turns out that the headlight control module was bad and needed to be replaced
