Redoing my AC system as my compressor works but has been leaking oil/refrigerant and has started to make noise. I'm probably going to replace the condenser to be safe but I dont see a lot of feedback on the aftermarket replacements. Are these decent replacements compared to OEM?
I'm looking at the following brands on rockauto UAC CN3004PFC APDI/PRO 7013004 OSC 3004
Does anyone have experience with these brands? Any feedback?
Update: Being unfamiliar with these brands, I went with a spectra premium condenser - 73004. Though be-forewarned, if you get this unit its missing hardware for attaching the lower hose coming off the AC compressor. The factory condenser has stud screwed into the condenser with a nut holding the hose on. The spectra just has a drilled and tapped hole with no stud or nut. So you're need to get your own or substitute a bolt instead. I was able to substitute an M8-1.25 x 30 (or 35MM) flanged bolt for the lower hose. Also, regarding this unit, if you try to torque the lower host to spec, it will being bending the tube that protrudes out from the condenser, where the hose attaches. So be careful.
