2000 Trans Am idle problem
Basically what happens is if I disconnect my battery for any amount of time and then reconnect it then start it up it acts like its going to die the whole time anytime after I rev it up. What I mean by that is if I hit the gas it revs up then when it comes back to idle it drops to about 300-200 rpm and almost wants to die but catches itself.
I have to wait till it warms up a bit then turn it off and once I start it again it acts fine.
I just recently removed the egr and air pump as well as replaced the coolant temp sensor. None of this was obviously it and when I first got the car I replaced all 4 O2 sensors because it had a code for the O2's. I am at a loss and really would like to finally find the problem. I've checked the forum and didnt see anything like my problem. Let me know if you all have any ideas. Thanks!
2.) When you turn on the key do you hear the fuel pump and will it start and idle?
3.) If so, have you gone out and drove the car long enough so the ECM can go through all of its system checks?

2. Yes everything is good except for the idle. Then once I warmed it up, shut the car off and then started it back up it's fine.
3. Yea I cant drive it to far right now. The radiator pisses out fluid out of the upper hose once the system gets actual pressure lol. I finally got one on order lol. Been pretty strapped for the last few years due to personal things lol. Thank you for your help!
