Hello. I’m looking to replace the charcoal canister on my 2000 Z28. My Camaro already has the trap door cut made from previous owner to access the fuel pump. Hubby and I are considering make a cut to access the canister.
My questions are: Has anyone done this? Do you have or can share from another source, the measurements that might help us in making the cuts without damaging anything in the canister area?
I am thinking the hole would have to be huge to get access. I cant help with measurements however to access my pump I have an approx 8 x 8 trap door installed and i can barely get the pump out with it centered over it.
