Fuel pump wiring.
Fuel pump wiring. I'm getting ready to replace my fuel pump, but want to do something slightly different. Most new pumps come with a different connector on the pump and also a new plug to splice into your old wiring. The old plug is, I assume, a weatherpack, 4 pin squareish type. I want to, instead of cutting off the old plug and splicing in the new one, take the new plug/wires and add a female weatherpack end making it an adapter to the old harness instead of a splice. However, I do not know the exact female (weatherpack?) connector I'd need to buy to make that happen. Does anyone know the specific one by any chance or have a link to one if possible? This is on a 99 Trans Am.
the best thing you can do to have long fuel pump life is to keep it submerged in gas.....which keeps it cool .....which F bods do by default in the bucket.......i only buy racetronixs pumps and have not had one crap out yet
