Can’t turn the ASR off.
Can’t turn the ASR off. It’s stuck on. The bulb in the switch is never illuminated but when I push the ASR button nothing happens. The ASR Off light on the dash doesn’t illuminate. I know it’s on because it’s constantly being activated when I turn a corner have a moderate / hard acceleration. Any idea as to what’s wrong?
I heard that they share the same fuse as the turn signals. I went all LED’s and had to get a LED flasher with a separate ground wire. Will that interfere with the operation of the ASR?

This is all assuming that the traction control module actually works and the problem is just with turning it on and off...
You can test the ASR / TCS switch quite easily... pull the switch out from the trim panel or remove the trim panel so that you can access the back of the ASR / TCS switch. Unplug the connector from the switch and, with the ignition on, momentarily ground the brown/white wire. That should toggle the traction control on and off. If it does then either the switch is bad or the black/white wire is not properly grounded. You can check that by using a short piece of wire as a jumper to momentarily connect the brown/white wire to the black/white wire. That would be the same thing the switch does internally. If the traction control toggles on and off then you know it's the switch. If not, it's a bad ground on the black/white wire.
