You think if the power steering functions sometimes before reverting back to hard steering it maybe something up with the bypass valve? Does anyone know if the f-bodies socketed bypass valve is the same for c5 corvette?

I believe the vette pump is a saginaw type 2....so the bypass valve should be the same....what pressure the valve is set at is unknown

Man just when i thought this couldnt get any better i took the car to get tuned this morning for the cam and headers. The power steering was hard to whole way even backing up on the dyno. The guy did 5-10 dynocom eddy brake dyno pulls tuning the car and 2 local drive trips with hp tuners to data log the car. After i got the car back started it and power steering was fully functional it functioned all the way home and the two seperate trips i took this evening. Not sure if there is air in the system or what. The only time it worked was when i replaced the hb which requires rack removal about a month ago.
