Default Steering Rack - Strange Leak

Hi everyone. I replaced my whole steering system about a year and half ago (due to a bad rack, figured I'd toss a fresh pump and lines on as well) on my 2000 Camaro z28. Had been working excellent. Until today, I noticed the rack appears to have started leaking. See the pictures below.

The circled area appears to be the only area where fluid is leaking from. The dust cover that is normally there was off, sitting on the k-member. Is this something fixable on the car or did my rack just crap out really quick?

Default Steering Rack - Strange Leak

Little background, I replaced the pump, lines and rack following a rack leak (figured I might as well while I was in there), about a year and a half ago on my 2000 Camaro z28. Had been working without issue, until yesterday. I seem to be losing a lot of fluid from the area below.

Anyone seen a leak from this location on a steering rack? The dust cover that would normally be there was sitting on the k-member.

Any chance this is a quick fix like tightening that hex nut or am I going to have to replace the whole rack again?

There's only grease in that cavity. If power steering fluid is leaking from there, it would be getting past an internal seal (rotary valve or rack seal)

Thank you for that link. Tons of great info there. I did confirm that is the location of the leak. Curious if buying the seal kit and attempting to replace what is allowing the leak would be something I can do solo. Planning on pulling it out either way it would seem.
