need help please Hi guys and gals, I'm working on a 07 suburban with a 5.3 I Just put new cam lifters timing chain and the Texas speed delete kit in it. I'm trying to get it running. I got spark and got 60 psi fuel pressure and no codes in the computer but it doesn't start. It doesn't even want to start. This is the first l s motor i have ever worked on, so I'm not up on them. and checked the compression again and it's only 110. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for any in site that you might have.
Did you get the timing chain installed right and not 180 out? Has it been tuned for what I assume you mean is the DOD delete? If not, did you leave the DOD valley cover plugged in and zip tied out of the way? What cam did you with, did you check pushrod length and make sure the PR's were in the lifter cup when torqueing the rockers?
