1999 Formula Firebird Hello all,
New to this, hopefully I'm in the right place. Recently got a 1999 Formula V8 5.7L, T56 Trans with 158,000 miles. its a stock car no mods on it. I'm having start up issues. Can't get it to crank, went away on vacation and came back it won't turn over. Before I left on vacation the car was ok with no issues. Checked battery 12.5v, starter is good, do notice "security light turn on but goes off after I turn the key. Is that normal? How can I check the keys are good. Maybe the ignition? Can I get new keys without going thru the dealer?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
