Default Might have found the general area of the leak.

I think the leak is going to be coming from somewhere around the TB because when the motor is turned off I hear a woosh of air coming from that area. I have another problem now though. I ran it kind of hard on the hwy (no WOT misfire) and when I got home the belt tensioner was knocking. If it wasn’t for the air noise as well I might guess a loose belt tensioner was causing the issues. It’s not supposed to make that air noise is it? Awhile back I took the TB off to clean it and I reused the old gasket. Also there’s this line that sticks into the drivers side of the intake near the TB that just kind of goes in and out but not all the way out. It can’t be that big of a leak though because the idle isn’t all that bad. Just a minute ago even with the tensioner knocking it was had a pretty steady idle.

The belt tensioner noise isn't normal, but the "air whoosh" sounds pretty normal to me (basically sounds like mine, from what I can hear in the video).

That hard plastic line on the driver's side of the intake is for the EVAP system. It's sort of a strange quick-disconnect type deal, there is some play in it and that's normal.

Perhaps that re-used TB gasket was not in such great shape and might be leaking a little. Could also still be the PCV system (which you could just disconnect and temporarily cap off the system to check, see if the idle gets better, if you don't want to wait for a smoke machine or scanner).

I knew that the tensioner knocking wasn’t normal. Could the idle issues be related to a loose belt? Say the tensioner was on its way out, wigging letting tension “on and off” prior to it knocking, and now it’s completely shot.

If those three lines are not connected you most certainly WILL have a vacuum leak.

If something is going on with the tensioner/belt that's causing the engine to "load and unload" the accessories, then you could certainly see some changes in idle behavior with those changes in load (at least until the IAC can compensate). But if there was enough change in load to impact the idle then I would expect you to also see some sort of corresponding oscillation in charging behavior (such as volt meter movement, lights surging a bit, etc.)

But either way, if it's making a knocking noise that's not normal and it should be replaced. Are you certain that the noise is coming from the tensioner though? Can't really be sure from just a video.
