Default Do the 98-02 f-bodies have an evaporator temperature sensor?

So far I can only find mention of these for the 93-97 f-bodies. I swapped a LS3 into my '94 and I'm starting the process of installing the A/C. I'd like to replace this sensor because I was having issues with the evaporator icing over in the old set up. The 93-97 part number is 52458970 or 15-71978. Does anyone have a part number for 98-02?

To the top.

Also I've read that the plastic "capsule" the evaporator sits in needs to be cut to remove it from the cabin side. I'd rather not remove the heater core though. Can I cut the capsule from the engine side and remove it that way? I was thinking I'd reseal it with black rtv or something along that line.

I asked my local dealership and BP Automotive (company that built my harness) this question and they couldn't find any mention of an evaporator temperature sensor for LS1 f-bodies. Also the 0411 PCM doesn't have any pins for such a sensor unlike the LT1 PCM which does.
