2004 corvette screeching when in reverse from wheel Hi i have a problem when my car is in the air on jack stands i put it in reverse and the wheel will not move unless i give it gas it creates a loud screech from the wheelwell it does not do it on the ground im 90% sure this is not the transmission due to the fact it was just rebuilt by rpm and i used a stethoscope under the car and the noise was coiming from the wheel but i can not tell if it is my break caliber piston seized or if is my wheel bearing bc the only time i have heard it while the car was on the ground was when i was reversing up a incline one time it also will mover with no throttle when on ground but not when on jack stands i have to give it gas to rotate wheel on stands which creates the sound 100% of the time could it be the wheel bearing? do to the fact it makes the sound when the wheel has its weight going downward to the suspension
