Default #8 isn't that tough.

I'm 64 years old and learning things new everyday. I wish I had learned a long time ago that if something is in your way take it off. If you remove the EGR and and the air hose right next to it you can reach your hands through there and do anything you want. Those four little bolts takes 2 minutes at best but don't drop them you'll never find them again and by doing it this way you'll wonder why you hadn't done it that way sooner. The same air hose runs around the other side of the engine so doing plugs on the other side. Take those two bolts out and you're in there. That hose goes to the compressor and I think to the cats.
