Default Auto vs manual steering column

2002 ta, is the only difference in columns the ignition switch for the auto lockout?

The main difference is the ignition lock mechanism. The automatic column has a shift interlock to prevent shifting out of park without the brake, while the manual doesn't. The core column itself is otherwise very similar.

Some of the Manual stuff has a push button on the Key Switch.

You know that's a Solenoid connected to the Shifter that's in the Center Console, right..
There's no Column Shift 4th Gen Fbody.
