2002 engine light blinking
If there are no codes present but you're seeing a flashing SES light, there's either a wiring problem or a PCM hardware/tuning problem.
In any event, you have a misfire.
Do you have access to a scanner that shows cylinder specific misfire data? That would be helpful, but not entirely necessary to begin diagnostics. You can also look at fuel trims (if you have a comprehensive scanner) for anything out of sorts on one bank or the other. Additionally, there should be some freeze frame data on that P0300 code to help you determine when (and under what conditions) the code was triggered; that also might help with the diagnostics. Otherwise, first step would be a basic check of plugs and wires (for fouled plugs and/or failing wires leading to weak spark/lost spark), as well as obvious/easy checks such as the air filter and MAF for debris/grime and/or obstructions, etc.
Address the P0300 as outlined above.
