Crank Position Sensor?

Crank Position Sensor? Hello all. 99 SS M6 80k miles. Car is running great but is shutting off when hot. Starts right up after sitting/ cooling off. Not latching any codes, but it looks like the CEL is lit until it restarts, didn’t have scanner with me to check. Tach reads 0 when cranking and failing to start. CEL off when restarted. Has fuel pressure when failing to start and fresh fuel. New MAF. Any suggestions appreciated!

CEL will be on whenever the key is ON, and the engine isn't running, regardless of code status.
What is the fuel pressure immediately after stalling? I've seen plenty of fuel pumps that run great when cool, but die after warming up.

Update: My mistake, the FP was right around 58# and was operating properly, after I looked at the gage and remembering where the needle had landed. It had been a while since I gaged it andI mis-reported it.
I had the mechanic replace the CPS. Didn't help. Perplexingly, the one he took out and returned to me said China on it: I bought this car new, delivered by Beans Chevy in 1999 and had Never replaced the CPS.
Anyway, the mechanic called it for a bad ECM. He replaced with a refurbed unit that showed up right quick. Problem solved. Was pleasantly surprised that ECM replacement (stock tune) was that quick and cost ~ $500.
Still looking for a PA shop to help sort:
- Exhaust clank. Think it's the hangars and exacerbated by poly-suspension pieces and Hotchkiss spring setup.
- Alignment/suspension shop to optimize susp w/aftermarket poly bushings, panhard w/heim joints, Hotchkiss springs, koni DA's I put in some years ago. tracks dead straight but I'd like to make a bit more responsive. Has big tires all around.
