Hello all. 99 SS M6 80k miles. Car is running great but is shutting off when hot. Starts right up after sitting/ cooling off. Not latching any codes, but it looks like the CEL is lit until it restarts, didn’t have scanner with me to check. Tach reads 0 when cranking and failing to start. CEL off when restarted. Has fuel pressure when failing to start and fresh fuel. New MAF. Any suggestions appreciated!

 

CEL will be on whenever the key is ON, and the engine isn't running, regardless of code status.

What is the fuel pressure immediately after stalling? I've seen plenty of fuel pumps that run great when cool, but die after warming up.

 

Same as running, checked it last year. 15 psi maybe? Strong stream from gage bleed.

 

That car isn't running on 15psi at the Rails..
58psi is the factory spec.
