How do you remove the sun visor on an F body?

Im jsut barely fitting in the car at over 6ft and it keeps hitting me almost hitting me.

Would rather have the extra room.

Tried taking off the 3 screws holding it inplace...bbut then there is a big hole in headliner with yellow foam poking out from under.

Is there a way to remove it off the arm its mounted on? To remove the arm off the mount?

ANd preferably in a way so i could put it back someday when selling the car..

Just pop it out of the clip and pull in the opposite direction of the mount.It snaps in,or out.

Wich way do you pull to release the clip? Do you push the visor toward the arm or away from it?

Theres no retainer clip, the drivers side, just pull it to the right and it pops free.Theres a pin on the three bolt mount that will stay there.
