How Do you remove sun visor?

How Do you remove sun visor? How do you remove the sun visor on an F body?
Im jsut barely fitting in the car at over 6ft and it keeps hitting me almost hitting me.
Would rather have the extra room.
Tried taking off the 3 screws holding it inplace...bbut then there is a big hole in headliner with yellow foam poking out from under.
Is there a way to remove it off the arm its mounted on? To remove the arm off the mount?
ANd preferably in a way so i could put it back someday when selling the car..
