If you ever need any work where you need a lift.....let me know. My friend just got his shop set up and he's doing side work.

He just put my new tranny in this weekend. If you need him to take a quick look to see whats up...PM me.

His shop is at Hallandale Beach Blvd and I-95....right there at that corner.

Its a ES poly mount bandit

awesome LS6 i def let you know. gonna do headers and mm in about 3/4 weeks so may need it.

i check my plugs and wires and didnt see anything out of the normal. cleaned the maf. could it be a fuel issue? the advanced auto near my house doesn't have a fuel pressure gauge i could use so i need to find one around me. Also thought it might be my 02's, rears are tuned out but still have stock ones in the fronts. Guess ill change those when i change the headers.

Poly mounts are not good. Poly is useless for street cars. That could be it. If this started immediately after those installs...probably. I use rubber factory mounts when I replace mine. Smooth as glass.

Also.....my friend is a tranny tech at a local Dodge/Chrysler dealership. He owns an F-Body. He does everything on cars though. He charges less than half what the dealership does for labor. PM me if you ever need anything done......he does everything on my car, been doing it for 7 years now. He's the only person that touches my car.

Get rid of that poly mount and get a stock rubber one from gm. Thats what I just did to go along with my poly motor mounts. Its almost 100 bucks but its not poly and it sure as hell isnt those other cheap *** rubber ones that break in a could days lol

Did you take the torque arm loose from the rear end?

I agree!

Maybe the OP didn't do the "poly mount mod", before installing it.....

Reason why I asked is because removing/replacing the torque arm has induced some vibes before in my experience. The solution was to jack the car up with the suspension loaded and loosen the two rear torque arm bolts and you will see the rear end shift, the re-tighten. Seems to me that torque arms can and will bind up if they aren't installed the way they want to be. I had a similar problem where I got driveline vibes under throttle with the rear squatting but during normal driving it was fine. The solution above fixed it.

so update now that its been around a week, seems the mount has broken in, havent had a crazy ton of vibration like everyone said i would. shifter stays in place and drivetrain doesnt feel like its going to run out of the car anymore. But still have vibration after 2500 rpms and still feels slugish. wondering if its clogged cats. im going to be doing headers in about 2 months so might just have to stick it out with the shitty mpg right now. heres some pics

oh and also just saw that my pass tailpipe was hanging a bit low and found this:
