Default Spark issues...

Ok, I popped my hood tonight after noticing the dash flickering at idle. The drivers side didnt show any signs of arcing or anything..however all 4 plugs on the passenger side have arcing going on!!! WHY?? Im confused..I wired everything away from the headers and nothing is touching... do I need die electric grease to stop this issue?? the plugs not working?? Something is a miss here (parden the pun). Any suggestions?

what kind of plugs are you running? If they are NGK's make sure the metal nipple on them (Where the spark plug boot clips on to) is not lose. I have a friend whos did this, and caused arching, and he couldnt figure it out, and it was the nipples got loose.

hmm... thats possible they are NGK TR55s... and I have stock wires...my dad seems to think the stock wires are just too old and allowing the spark to ground out on anything nearby. (which is possible.)..I did pull off one plug wire and the end tip was unscrewed a little... hmmmm Thanks!

try switching some plugs to the other side that is not arching and see what happens.. This problem drove my friend nutz!

Yeah I noticed some of my nipple were working their way off when I was installing new plugs. I made sure they were all on. Very odd. Wonder why they just didn't make them stationery?

Always had a problem with the NGK junks loosening their clip ends, I hate the NGK junks, used them twice and never again.

What do you use? My dad always said even back in the day the NGK was the best plug. I wouldn't waste my money on those $6/plug Bosch ones either.

Hmm..yeah they were cheaper than AC/Delcos when i got them.. but I always heard they were the best ones to use. I double checked and the end tips were comming off of them all..never checked them out of the box.. my bad.

a degree hotter old school style Autolite solid copper plug. With the MSD they have held up better than any other plug to date I've used. I had a few old school draggers give me the tip and so far I'm pleased with them. I'll have to get the number off the box.

My issues have been with the &(*&^^ POS Opti, after a year it's had it, but LTCC I think is the route I'm headed with next. Was considering Delteq but learned this week they don't have Rev limit or auto timing retard for N20. Shrugs I don't use bottle yet but for 600 bucks I don't want to sell myself short down the road.
