Third Brake light question.
Third Brake light question. My third brake light does not work and I have already replaced the light bulbs so that is not the problem. So now I have to see if there is a short in the wiring somewhere but has anybody located the wiring to the third brakelight? I see a lot of TAs and F-Birds with the third brake light inoperative so I figure it is pretty common thing. I'm hoping it's something stupid like it's not hooked up. Thanks for any info.

pop the plastic piece out under the hatch, directly below the spoiler. take off the 4 bolts and youll have access to the connection from the car to the spoiler. it should be on the drivers side...

Maybe like the tail lights and the socket is bad. I have replaced 3 sockets on my tail lights. I would try that first cuz it shouldn't be very expensive at all and you won't have to track down all that wiring.
