Is there a fuel pump relay?

Default Is there a fuel pump relay?

I'm working on a 95 T/A, which has no fuel pressure.

Before I go as far as dropping the tank, I need to know if I could check the F//P relay (if there is one) to assure there is power...

Yes there is. It is under the Driver side kick panel. You can also jump the pump by suppling power to the wire hanging out of the loom near the PCM

Ellis, Thanks for the tip... wire hanging out of the loom by the PCM? What is it? a Female connector? Color?

With 150K, I want to make sure I dont drop the tank, only to find that wasnt the problem...

it's black it looks like something that is unplugged also its a male connector supply power to that hook up a pressure gauge and see if you have a rise in pressure...

Right now, theres no sound (pump) when the ignition is switched on... except what I believe is the sound of the relay...

I suspect the pump is bad... and I hate to replace the pump knowing the drivetrain is coming out of this car when all is done... (I'm going to transplant it into my '84 MCSS) espescially knowing what a PITA it is to R&R the tank... but that looks like the way to go...

Thanks for the advice... I'll try that tomorrow... if it's not raining...

OK.. after the darn thing sitting here for months.. it runs...

Turns out the pump is going to crap... jumpered the relay to have power to the pump... then rapped the tank a few times with the dead-blow hammer.. viola! it runs...

I guess it wasnt a bad deal for $250...

Now to sort out the stuff I dont need so I can begin preparations for my engine swap... this motor is gonna look sweet in my '84 MCSS

Theres a GN here with an LT1 based engine with twin turbos... runs consistent 10's, but is supposed to be able to run much faster...
